We're back...Viva Piano Spring term has begun!

Hello from us at Viva Piano!

We're so excited to have kicked off our Spring term group piano lessons last Saturday. We had a wonderful morning starting with our beginner class - Introduction to Piano - followed by our lesson for more experienced players - Level Up Piano. You can read all about the two lesson programmes, and their differences, here.

We welcomed some new faces, and LOTS of familiar ones too. It was incredible to see the confidence and skills growth in our students who have returned for more lessons. It's also very special and gratifying for us that parents trust us to continue their child's learning.

So what have we got planned for this term?

Well, Introduction to Piano will be as fun, but gentle, as ever. We'll be working our through some fundamentals like note values, pitch and tempo, whilst exploring major and minor chords (don't worry, KPop Demon Hunters is coming back!), and learning how to play our first melodies with two hands. Lots of games, laughter and progress!

Level Up is going to be brilliant - and definitely more of a challenge! We'll go further into our understanding of theory basics and practising our two-handed playing with more complex melodies. More chords and improvisation exercises will get their creative juices flowing, all while developing more confidence and more skills.

After such an incredible Winter term, we can't wait to get started!

A very touching review from last term...

"We feel so lucky to have found Viva Piano. We were long searching for something to suit our little girl. Piano lessons in school do not start for a few years and private 1:1 lessons seemed too formal for this age. After searching far and wide, we found Viva Piano and reached out. Scarlett and Laura were instantly responsive, supportive and helpful.

The sessions have been so much fun and the relaxed environment has been so helpful in building our little girl's confidence. We couldn't have asked for a better start to piano for her and we are so looking forward to our next term!"
