A Musical Year's End: Autumnal reflections and a very special festive announcement!

Wow - can you believe we are already in November? I don't know about you, but this is my favourite season. Give me ALL the hot chocolate, please!

A Time for Reflection

It's also a wonderful time for reflection. Laura and I have been doing quite a bit of that recently as we wrap up 2025 and plan for the new year.

Our Autumn courses finished a few weeks ago, and we could not be prouder of our students. We are so impressed by what they achieved!

Celebrating Our Students' Achievements

By the end of our Introduction to Piano course, our musicians were all playing melodies (some even two-handed!) and chords. They had composed their own tunes, explored music dynamics, and gained a wealth of theoretical knowledge! This class was particularly special for their enthusiasm and willingness to perform. It was magical to see their confidence bloom before our eyes.

In our Level Up class, our musicians just went from strength to strength. The melodies became more complicated (hello, hand gymnastics!), we introduced more chords, and their theory knowledge grew. Their musicality soared! We set some serious challenges in this class, and our students absolutely smashed it.

What's Next for Viva Piano?

So, what's next for us at Viva Piano? Well, we have some exciting news! Our Introduction to Piano course is back on 10th January! By popular demand, we have decided to extend the courses to 8 weeks instead of 6. Level Up will return in the Spring.

Festive Fun Ahead!

And... drumroll please... it's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas! (Don't worry, I've not done any Christmas shopping yet either.) We are SO excited to announce that we are running a very special festive piano workshop in partnership with Love Letchworth!

On 13th December, we're leading not one, but THREE 45-minute Christmassy-themed taster sessions (please only book onto one!) for children aged 6-10. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to see what a Viva Piano course is all about.

Attendees will learn some festive tunes, play musical games, and accompany themselves while singing a Christmas song. No experience is required—just curiosity and enthusiasm!
